DOVIA-LA in conjunction with SCADVS are hosting a workshop on Tuesday October 28 (9.30am to 3.30pm) to celebrate IVMDay 2008. The day will feature a presentation by Karen Baker, the California Secretary of Volunteering and Service as well as a host of other interesting workshop topics and speakers. The event will be held at the Santa  Clarita Activities Center, 20880 Center Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita.

Jersey Shore DOVIA is hosting a breakfast for volunteer administrators on November 5th.  Our sponsor for the event is NJ Natural Gas, and the event will be held at their headquarters at 1415 Wyckoff Road, Wall, NJ.  We have invited all of our members and will promote the event for other volunteer managers who live and/or work in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
